This is part of a level that comes straight after the Cavecamp experience with the refugees. You'll be forced to leave by taking the much darker "back alley exit". It'll give you bit of an wakeup call experience. The refuge camp, eventhough pretty and peacefull, it won't solve any of your excisting problems. The organic caveshape is created by me including modeling, textures, lightmaps, normalmaps. I also assembled all the props like the torches which are also basicly the only lighting in this area.

Same shot without shaders and particles. Not many extra objects were needed since the torches and moving water already gave the organic shapes so much life.

This environment was very doable on short notice. Since I made a lot of other cave-systems before I was able to grab the best suitable pieces and basicly wrap it around the mockup. This is also excelent to keep the levelflow consistent.
